Clutch is a single diaphragm type running on a steel insert in the aluminium fly-wheel, and is hydraulically operated.

Bell-housing and crank support is fabricated in-house by Planet.  To avoid any stress on the crank this is carried in a support plate with roller bearing mounted in our own aluminium casing.

Gearbox is a fully re-conditioned as new Ford Type 9 5-speed box.

Engine, gearbox and exhausts are solidly mounted.

Propshaft is specially made for the vehicle.  Fully enclosed in transmission tunnel.
